Each 2012 Ionic Breeze Air Purification System covers up to 1,000 square feet, utilizing negative ions, 254nm UV germicidal lamp, Ti02 (Titanium Oxide) Catalyst filter and washable electrostatic dust collector.
Capable of removing dust, pollen, pet dander and smoke from the air, these Ionic Breeze Air Purification Systems draw air through their whisper quiet intake fans, directing it through the electronic filter which traps any particulate on the collector rods inside the unit! Odors are also easily removed through its Titanium Oxide catalyst.
Equipped with a UVC Germicidal Lamp, these units are capable of generating ultraviolet light at a wavelength of 254 nanometers and its photons have the exact energy required to destroy and eliminate the DNA of all kinds of microorganisms (bacteria, mold spores, viruses, etc). In a recent clinical trial, ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI) with UVC was shown to significantly reduce respiratory symptoms of office workers when installed in building ventilation systems.
